The popular K-drama Uncle Samsik is all set to air its finale episodes 14–16 on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 4 p.m. KST on Disney Plus. The series, set in turbulent 1960s South Korea, documents the journey of passionate idealist Kim San (Byun Yo-Han), who aims to secure the country’s financial future with his reconstruction plan. In the newly released photo stills, Joo Yeo-Jin can be seen protesting against the election fraud, posing a threat to Kang Seong-Min’s future. Meanwhile, Cha Tae-Min aims a gun at Kang Seong-Min as his final attack. However, Uncle Samsik comes in between to fall prey to the gunshot.
Kim San’s dream of building the National Reconstruction Bureau only seems to go further away. It will be interesting to see to what extent Uncle Samsik can help Kim San, given how he cannot exert power over Ahn Ki-Cheol. Furthermore, the latter warns Uncle Samsik to abide by his rules or face his wrath. Thus, Ki-Cheol not only holds Uncle Samsik but also Kang Seong-Min’s future in his hands. Seong-Min, on the other hand, worries about the stolen ballot boxes and Cha Tae-Min’s wrath against him.
