Hostile Takeover Cast Set for Michael Jai White Movie’s Virtual Production

Exclusive: ComingSoon can exclusively announce that several new cast members are joining Michael Jai White, Sala Baker, and Aimee Stolte in Hostile Takeover.

Hostile Takeover is an upcoming action thriller movie from virtual production company Volume Global. Principal photography is currently underway at the John Hopkins Regina Soundstage in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Who is starring in Hostile Takeover with Michael Jai White?

Joining White (Spawn, The Dark Knight), Baker (Bullet Train, Thor: Love and Thunder), and Stolte (Megladon) in Hostile Takeover are Dawn Olivieri (Yellowstone) as Angel, Benjamin Arce (The Flash, Nancy Drew) as Muerto, Damon Runyan (Star Trek: Discovery) as Thanatos, Kyle Bailey (Murdoch Mysteries) as Gabriel, Alex Mallari (The Adam Project) as Mingue, Aleks Paunovic (War for the Planet of the Apes) as Reapder, and Ana Sarem (Saturn Return) as Lilliana.

Melissa Stubbs is choreographing the stunt and fight sequences for Hostile Takeover. The movie is being filmed exclusively with Volume Global’s LED Volume studio, which is “the largest of its kind in Canada and the second largest in the world.”

The film “follows Pete (White), a professional hitman, as he confronts a group of assassins after suspicions of disloyalty arise from his attendance at Workaholics Anonymous meetings.” Stolte plays Pete’s on-again/off-again girlfriend Mora, while Baker plays a character named Pequino.

The film is co-written by Hamilton-Wright and Burton L. Warner.

Hamilton-Wright also serves as a producer alongside David Cormican, Anand Ramayya, and Juliette Hagopian, while Christopher Rush Harrington, Christina Laughlin, Dante Yore, and Rounthwaite serve as executive producers and Mark Montague as line producer.

Hostile Takeover is a collaboration between Volume Global, Karma Film, Julijette Inc., Dovetale Media, and Fun Republic Pictures. The companies have a number of feature films and television series scheduled to utilize the LED Volume studios in Saskatchewan and Canada as part of their overall media strategy.
