Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 has recently announced the nomination list for the Asia Star Award and Drama OST Award. On this list, Kim Soo-Hyun, Byeon Woo-Seok, and Cha Eun-Woo have bagged the nominations for their latest K-dramas.
Soo-Hyun appeared in Queen of Tears opposite Kim Ji-Won, who has also been nominated for the award. Additionally, Woo-Seok for Lovely Runner and Eun-Woo for Wonderful World are also on the list. The Asia Star Award includes nominees from six Asian countries, including South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. The results will be based on fans’ votes.
Hallyu (Korean Wave) fans can vote for their favorite actor through a voting app, Idol Champ. The voting lines will open from June 15, 2024, to July 14, 2024.

The Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 will honor two categories: the Asia Star Award and the Drama OST Award. The nominees have been selected from six Asian countries.
From South Korea, the nominees include Kim Soo-Hyun (Queen of Tears), Byeon Woo-Seok (Lovely Runner), Cha Eun-Woo (Wonderful World), Kim Ji-Won (Queen of Tears), Song Kang (My Demon), Kim Hye-Yoon (Lovely Runner), Suho (Missing Crown Prince), Lee Junho (King the Land), Chae Jong-Hyeop (Castaway Diva), Park Bo-Young (Daily Dose of Sunshine), Lim Yoon-Ah (King the Land), and Go Yoon-Jung (Moving).
Both male and female leads from Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner have entered the nomination list. It will be interesting to see the battle between two popular K-dramas of 2024. However, the nomination list does not include any of the songs from Woo-Seok’s series.
The OST list features the singers of popular K-dramas’ title tracks — Crush (Queen of Tears OST), NewJeans (My Demon OST), Miyeon of (G)I-DLE (My Dearest OST), Seungkwan of SEVENTEEN (Tell Me That You Love Me OST), and Seo Eun-Kwang of BTOB (Chief Detective 1958 OST).
Meanwhile, Lovely Runner’s OST “Sudden Shower” entered the Billboard Global 200 in June 2024.
