Since then, she has starred opposite the lead actors in the South Indian film industry. However, she has also shined across the silver screens in solo movies. The Telugu movie Satyabhama marks Kajal Aggarwal’s 60th project. Directed by Suman Chikkala, the film’s story is written by Ramesh Yadma and Prashanth Reddy Motadoo. Sashi Kiran Tikka, Bobby Tikka, and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly are producing the movie under the banner of Aurum Arts.

The crime thriller is all set to hit the theaters on June 7, 2024. The movie was initially set to release in May but was later delayed. With its release in early June, the movie will not face competition from any other commercial film in Telugu cinema. However, how it would perform at the box office would be interesting.
Besides the Magadheera star, the movie also features Naveen Chandra, Prakash Raj, Nagineedu, Harsh Vardhan, and Ravi Varma as supporting characters. The movie allegedly revolves around ACP Satyabhama, who investigates a case that gets her personally entangled. However, she works hard to pursue justice, and the rest shapes the plot of the story.

Kajal Aggarwal teases Satyabhama plot
Kajal Aggarwal is already being praised for her role as ACP Satyabhama. Her action sequences have grabbed a lot of attention from the movie’s trailer and fans have been waiting to watch her in the police uniform. Talking about her upcoming movie with The Hindu, the actress revealed how it is a commercial film but its plot is still different. She said, “My character, ACP Satyabhama, is in a commercial space, yet off the beaten track.”
Kajal further wen on to describe her character and what makes her special. She said, “Satyabhama is feisty and can use law and order to help the oppressed, but we also see how she gets affected by everything that happens around her.” “It was emotionally and physically a tough film to do.”
It took Kajal Aggarwal time to understand her character and the makers helped her in doing so. She revealed, “The makers had several hypothetical situations that made me understand how my character would behave in different situations. The screenplay does not explain much and trusts the intelligence of the audience. We had workshops and I made notes on my copy of the script.”
After revealing some details about her character, Kajal added how Satyabhama always seeks justice for victims. “When Satyabhama comes face to face with her nemesis, she has a choice — to overpower or leave the opponent to realize and reform, for closure and justice. What she does at that point defines who she is.”
