After the finale of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Pivarnick expressed her worries regarding the reunion episodes that aired on May 23, 2024, in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Dreading the next one to air. Fml,” she said.
The reality TV star’s concerns stemmed from an altercation between her and Tortorella from the finale. In the concluding episode, Pivarnick slammed Tortorella’s strict workout routine saying she “couldn’t handle” it.
As revealed by Pivarnick in a Jersey Shore episode from March 2023, the two first met in 2022. Although she’d introduced Tortorella to her co-stars from Jersy Shore during a November 2022 vacation, it is believed that the couple had been dating for several months prior to that, as per Life & Style.
The two got engaged during the same trip, which was aired in an episode in April 2023. Following the proposal, Pivarnick said, “This is something I need at this point in my life.” Trouble between Pivarnick and Tortorella started brewing in 2023.
In August 2023, Pivarnick reportedly called the cops on Vinny after accusing him of domestic abuse. “I can confirm that Angelina did in fact call the police to her home,” her lawyer said. “After speaking with officers, Angelina decided not to file charges.”
However, Tortorella’s attorney said, “Mr. Tortorella denies any act of impropriety that would warrant police involvement and denies any act of domestic violence occurred.”
