In an interview with Variety, Spiridakos spoke about her decision to leave the show. She said, “I decided at the end of my sixth season, which is when I had reached out to Gwen and to everyone at Wolf to let them know that I just wanted to do one more year. I wanted us to send out the character with one last season.” 

Hailey was thrust into the leadership spot at the Intelligence Unit in the wake of Hank Voight’s unexpected abduction. Nevertheless, she was able to mount a successful rescue mission, freeing Voight from the clutches of Frank Matson, a ruthless serial killer.

Is Jason Beghe’s Hank Voight leaving Chicago PD?

Jason Beghe is expected to continue his run in the acclaimed police procedural drama. 

In the Season 11 finale, his character, Hank Voight, was put in a perilous situation, leading many fans to question Beghe’s future in the series. However, Voight survived the ordeal and is likely to return to the Intelligence Unit in the next season.

Moreover, actor Jason Beghe has expressed his desire to return again. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, he stated that he would love to be a part of Chicago PD for as long as NBC would afford him the opportunity.
