Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board comes to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC next month. Previously exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, the virtual board game came to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on July 16. Physical editions are only available for the PlayStation 5 and Series X and don’t come with the game’s preorder bonuses.
Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board launches on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on July 16
Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation users can preorder the digital edition of Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board now. In addition to the base game, players who do so get four in-game stamps featuring characters Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira. Players can use these stamps to communicate with each other in-game. Fans who preorder before July 16 will also receive three Premium Tickets, which they can exchange for in-game rewards. Note that players can also unlock Premium Tickets through regular gameplay.
Based on the hit anime and manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Sweep the Board recreates locations like Mt. Fujikasane and Asakusa in board game form. It features 12 playable characters, including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Hashira. Developers are also working on a free update that will add two more playable characters, Genya Shinazugawa and Kanao Tsuyuri, this summer.
A key feature is the board game’s day-night cycle, with players completing minigames during the day and hunting demons at night. The minigames will see up to four players compete against each other or in teams of two. However, they must work together to defeat powerful demons like Akaza.
