Netflix’s Super Rich in Korea recap: Why did Teodoro argue with his father?
In Netflix’s Super Rich in Korea, Teo wants to settle in Korea and make his career in the food and beverage industry. But his father, Tullio Marani, wants his son to join him in his business. The father-son duo had an argument while they were sharing a meal in the reality series.
At the dining table in episode 3, Tullio asks Teo to return to Italy. The son tries to make his father understand that he wants to explore foreign countries and is not ready to return yet. His response irks Tullio, who insists he returns and takes some load of his business. When Teo tries to explain his viewpoint, his father assumes he doesn’t want to return because he doesn’t want to stay in Italy. Tension can be sensed between the two as an awkward silence fills the air.
Tullio and his wife are the CEOs of Henry Beguelin, an Italian luxury fashion brand. They are ultra-wealthy, with two houses in Italy and two in Switzerland. Teo has graduated from Switzerland, according to his LinkedIn page.
Meanwhile, Teo has impressed viewers with his skills and wits in Super Rich in Korea. The reality TV show is currently streaming on Netflix.
