KBS2’s upcoming K-drama Dare to Love Me unveiled a trailer and released its release date along with the streaming platform. Starring Kim Myung-Soo and Lee Yoo-Young as the leads, the rom-com drama is already creating buzz among the audience. It is based on a webtoon, Treat Me Carelessly, written and illustrated by Sun Woo.
The narrative of the drama follows Shin Yoon-Bok (Myung-Soo), a young man who believes in Confucian values. He knows how to respect others but finds it too difficult to connect emotionally with people. Yoon-Bok wants to become a webtoon writer. However, his life takes a drastic turn after meeting an art teacher, Kim Hong-Do (Yoo-Young). How their lives entangle with each other is the theme of this drama.

Dare to Love Me’s trailer focuses on Kim Hong-Do and Shin Yoon-Bok’s (Kim Myung-Soo) meet-cute and further storyline. The video clip opens with Hong-Do facing a fiasco at her workplace. On the other hand, the trailer shows Yoon-Bok in a hanbok, showing his fine fighting skills as he beats up a group of thugs. However, fate makes these two people of opposite personalities meet. It further teases the blooming love story that viewers will see in the drama.
Furthermore, this KBS2 drama gets a global platform. Dare to Love Me is going to stream on Netflix. The trailer was released with English subtitles on Netflix’s official Instagram handle. Along with the video, the caption reads, “A man with a strict, traditional background meets a woman who is zero tradition, 100% spunk.”
