The upcoming romantic C-drama Young Babylon is all set to premiere on April 29, 2024. It features Neo Hou and Yang Cai Yu in the lead roles. It is an adaptation of the novel by Lu Nei, bearing the same title. It is a period drama that takes place in the 1900s. The drama tells the story of Lu Xiao Lu (Neo Hou), who lives in a coastal town in Southeast China. He was born into a working-class family.
He accepts his fate and follows the path of his ancestors. At the young age of 19. he starts working at a factory in his town. At first, he finds this job tiring and searches for an escape. But slowly, he starts to enjoy his new life and makes friends with his co-workers. But he also rebels against the authorities and refuses to bow down in front of them.
