Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset is a reality TV series that follows an affluent Iranian-American family residing in Beverly Hills, California. The series premiered on March 11, 2012. Season 9 debuted on May 16, 2021, and aired for 15 episodes before coming to an end on August 29, 2021. Is there a Shahs of Sunset Season 10 release date?
There is no Shahs of Sunset Season 10 release date as Bravo canceled the series after nine seasons.
In April 2022, Bravo reportedly canceled Shahs of Sunset. The cancellation happened after the arrest of series star Mike Shouhed due to allegations of domestic abuse. However, a source reportedly told Entertainment Tonight that the two incidents were not connected. According to this source, there were already talks about wrapping the series before the incident. In March 2024, Shouhed’s former fiancée Paulina Ben-Cohen filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of assaulting her in 2022.
Reporting on the cancellation, TMZ claimed that some of the cast members already had other projects lined up for them. Reza Farahan went on to take part in The Traitors (2023) and will appear in the upcoming series The GOAT. Mercedes “MJ” Javid has appeared in Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis and The Traitors (2023).
