Prabhas‘s upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD is reportedly a couple of months away from its release date. Touted to be a unique project with sci-fi dystopian overtones, it is one of the most awaited releases of 2024. However, rumors are rife that the film’s production has been facing delays. According to Pinkvilla, a source close to this new development has finally confirmed that the film release has been delayed.
According to the source, the makers are targeting June 20, 2024, for the global premiere of Kalki 2898 AD, providing them with over a month‘s leeway. However, a significant factor contributing to the film’s delay was the impending Lok Sabha elections this year. Allegedly, postponing the film until May 2024 was under consideration. Nonetheless, audiences eagerly await an official confirmation from the makers regarding the movie’s postponement.
