Searchlight Pictures has released the latest teaser trailer for Kinds of Kindness, the upcoming anthology film from Yorgos Lanthimos. Kinds of Kindness will premiere in competition at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival before arriving in U.S. theaters on June 21, 2024, and in the UK/Ireland on June 28.
The official synopsis from Searchlight reads: “Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”

Who is Involved in Kinds of Kindness?
Emma Stone, who begins the teaser trailer dancing in a parking lot, is one of the stars of Kinds of Kindness. This marks their third feature film collaboration and the first since Poor Things, which won Stone the Oscar for Best Actress.
Besides Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer also star.
Kinds of Kindness is produced and directed by Lanthimos from a screenplay he co-wrote with Efthimis Filippou. Additional producers include Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe of Element, and Kasia Malipan.
