WWE superstar Drew McIntyre won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship; however, things took a dramatic turn for McIntyre following the match. Drew McIntyre challenged Seth Rollins for his WWE World Heavyweight Championship with CM Punk on commentary.
The feud between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk has reached a boiling point, with McIntyre constantly taking shots at CM Punk for missing WrestleMania 40 due to a triceps injury suffered at the Royal Rumble. Although Punk couldn’t participate in the show, he did have some action on it.
After Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, McIntyre went to the commentary desk, where he continued to taunt CM Punk. This ultimately led to Punk attacking McIntyre with his arm brace after removing it. Following the attack, Money in the Bank winner Damien Priest came down to the ring and cashed in his contract to win the championship.

During his match against Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre had the upper hand from the beginning. However, he had a momentary distraction when he approached his wife, who was at ringside. McIntyre took her phone and sent out a tweet in the middle of the match.
After his loss, McIntyre reacted to the tweet, quoting, “Bored at work. LOL,” and retweeted the same tweet, sharing his reaction.
Following Damien Priest’s cash-in, he became the second person in WWE to cash in the Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania after Seth Rollins.
