Popular K-drama Queen of Tears is set to air two new episodes, 9 and 10, this week on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. The episodes will also be available to stream on Netflix. The series follows the story of a married couple, Chaebol heiress Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) and her husband, Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun). The couple faces a marital crisis but gradually resolves their differences.
The newly released trailer for episodes 9 and 10 of Queen of Tears sees the Chaebol Queens Group adjusting to the new normal with their in-law Baek Hyun-Woo’s family in Yongduri. After they are thrown out of their chaebol status by Yoon Eun-Seong, the family seeks shelter with Hyun-Woo’s family but finds it awkward to adapt to their new lifestyle in the village. Viewers will have to wait and see how it all unfolds.
Queen of Tears Episode 9 & 10 teases an awkward family reunion
The upcoming Queen of Tears episodes 9 and 10 trailer teases some fun banter and awkwardness between Hong Hae-In and Baek Hyun-Woo’s family. Hae-In’s chaebol family deals with their recent removal from their conglomerate, Queens Group. Meanwhile, Yoon Eun-Seong and his birth mother, Mo Seul-Hee, enjoy their newfound success as one of the largest shareholders of Queens Group.
On the other hand, Hong Hae-In and her family navigate the consequences of the conglomerate’s failure and their family’s strained relationships. Hae-In’s brother, Hong Soo-Cheol, deals with heartbreak after his wife, Cheon Da-Hye, leaves him for good. She moves abroad with their son, leaving him completely devastated. Moreover, Queens Group Chairman Hong Man-Dae also fights for his life after Seul-Hee drugs him.
The new trailer sees Hae-In’s family having dinner with Hyun-Woo and his family in the village. Hyun-Woo’s father offers Soo-Cheol food, wondering why the latter isn’t eating. Soo-Cheol, however, refuses to eat because he has no appetite. Instead, he asks for some water. As the family hurriedly offers some water, Soo-Cheol refuses; he prefers bottled water. Hyun-Woo’s brother offers to get some bottled water from their store.
Soo-Cheol, meanwhile, proceeds to ask for higher-quality bottled water. The atmosphere turns awkward, and his father, Hong Beom-Jun, apologizes, calling his son’s behavior “immature.” However, Beom-Jun asks for other higher-quality water, which flusters everyone more. Eventually, Hae-In stops it by hitting Soo-Cheol, asking her brother to adjust and eat whatever is given.
As Hyun-Woo’s family comprehends the situation, Hyun-Woo stresses that Hae-In doesn’t behave like this with him. The trailer ends with Hae-In gobbling up her food in frustration.
