After a long wait, Investigation Discovery is finally all set to air the latest episode of On the Case With Paula Zahn. Titled “Where is Alexis?,” it will delve into the murder of Alexis Gabe. This will be the eighth and final episode of this season and will air on April 24, 2024.
According to reports, the network opted against airing this episode during spring. When the family of Alexis Gabe received this information, they were deeply disappointed. Despite the setback, they remained determined. Gwyn Gabe, the father of the deceased, reached out to members of the “Justice for Alexis Gabe” Facebook page. He urged them to contact the network in an effort to compel them to air the episode.
Eventually, Gabe received a call from the network pertaining to the same. He came to know that host Paula Zahn had agreed to continue filming the episode.

After Gwyn Gabe learned that Investigation Discovery would air the episode on his daughter’s tragic murder, he expressed his gratitude to the people who made it happen. He shared an update on the “Justice for Alexis Gabe” Facebook page. It read, “We did it. The episode producer called me last Thursday to inform me that Paula Zahn has decided to schedule the airing of Alexis’ episode…”
This decision was made after the network received numerous requests on social media regarding the same. The public attention surrounding the case of Alexis Gabe further contributed to the release of the episode. Gwyn Gabe thanked everyone for their constant support on the Facebook page.
Alexis Gabe, aged 24, was murdered in 2022 by her ex-boyfriend, Marshall Curtis Jones. It took authorities some time to uncover her partial remains in Plymouth.
