The reason Imaginary will very likely stream on Starz is because it is owned by Lionsgate, who distributed the film in theaters.
As for why Imaginary will likely also stream on Peacock, it is because the streamer reportedly recently inked a deal with Lionsgate that would allow the former to stream the latter’s theatrically distributed films from 2024 onwards.
