The actress was widely appreciated for portraying an evil character in Marry My Husband. But recently, it was reported that Ha-Yoon was forcibly transferred from one school to another, which led to the bullying speculations. Her agency now clarified the reports that accused her of being involved in school violence in the past.
Song Ha Yoon’s agency shares a statement debunking all the allegations
It was first reported in JTBC’s Crime Chief report, as stated in Sports Khan. Song Ha-Yoon’s agency, King Kong by Starship, stated, “It is true that Song Ha Yoon was forcibly transferred from Banpo High School [to a new school] in relation to school violence. This matter has nothing to do with the ‘Crime Chief’ report. [The actress] does not know the informant at all. We did not bring up her forced transfer record as it was not related to this issue. It will be explained when the time comes.”
The report accused a rising actress (who has a name with the letter S) who rose to popularity after her recent drama where she portrayed a villain character. The accuser claimed that she physically abused that person 20 years back during their school days. Soon enough, the rumors speculated that the actress with the letter ‘S’ is Song Ha-Yoon.
Following the speculations, her agency shared an official statement debunking and clarifying the reports. The statement reads, “The agency recognizes the seriousness of the matter, and in order to confirm the truth after receiving the initial report, we called the informant. Afterwards, we requested a meeting through a messaging app in order to confirm the exact truth, but the informant’s side expressed refusal. Therefore, we requested a call, but we did not receive a response.”
They further added, “After checking the truth with the actress regarding the claims made by the informant, we confirmed that all the relevant information is not true and that the informant is a complete stranger to her. Currently, the informant’s unilateral claims are causing indiscriminate speculation and presumptions to spread. We earnestly ask that you refrain from speculative reports and unconfirmed truths regarding this. Thank you.”
