One of the popular rom-com K-drama, Crash Course in Romance stars Jeon Do-Yeon and Jung Kyun-Ho in the leads. Directed by Yoo Je-Won and penned by Yang Hee-Seung, the drama revolves around a blooming love story between a star math instructor, Choi Chi-Yeol and a side dish store owner, Nam Haeng-Seon.
The finale episode of the K-drama brought in new perspectives and answered all of the hanging questions that hovered around. The ending of the show gave closure to everything and tied up all the loose ends while explaining the character arcs further. Yes, the lead characters found their happily ever after at the end. Crash Course in Romance: Is it a happy ending for Choi Chi-Yeol and Nam Haeng-Seon?
Jung Kyung-Ho plays Choi Chi-Yeol, the star maths instructor who is not only quite charming but also quite competent. On the other hand, Jeon Do-Yeon plays the side dish store owner’s character, Nam Haeng-Seon. Haeng-Seon is a retired ex-female handball player and also a passionate mother. Spoilers ahead, after watching all of the episodes, in the end, the love story between Nam and Choi finally sees the light of day. Even though Choi’s ex makes it a little complicated, the two resolve the issue. Soon after, Nam and Choi both decide to propose to each other and their cute gesture will flutter your heart for sure.

But that’s not the end of Nam Haeng-Seon’s story. The drama shows a beautiful development in Jeon Do-Yeon’s character. She finally takes a step toward her dream to study further. After her daughter Nam Hae-Yi leaves her higher studies, Haeng-Seon enrolls herself in a college for adults. Cut to two years, she receives her certification proving that age is just a number and one should always follow their dreams. On the other hand, Choi Chi-Yeol celebrates with his students and then goes to meet his partner. They end up getting their happily ever after as their story gets full circle with their marriage.
While Hae-Yi’s decision to leave for higher studies might become heartbreaking, she kind of finds her love and balance in life at the end. The drama, Crash Course in Romance also highlights beautiful emotions and relationship developments. The series justifies all the characters by the end of it by showing all the conclusive ends to it.
Viewers loved Jung Kyung-Ho and Jeon Do-Yeon’s chemistry in the drama. The cute gestures shown in the drama are enough to give butterflies in their stomach. While the series began with not a great start, it picked up the pace as the story unfolded further. It even received quite a huge viewership rating nationwide. Other than Jung Kyung-Ho and Jeon Do-Yeon, the drama also features Lee Chae-Min, Ryu Da-In, Roh Yoon-Seo, and others in pivotal roles.
