Popular K-drama Flex X Cop aired a new episode 15 on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. The episode is also available to stream on Disney Plus. The series follows the story of illegitimate chaebol heir Jin Yi-Soo (Ahn Bo-Hyun), who becomes a detective overnight. He crosses paths with team leader Lee Kang-Hyun (Park Ji-Hyun).
Episode 15 of Flex X Cop documented significant tension as Jin Yi-Soo found out both about his father, Jin Myung-Chul’s death, and secrets surrounding his mother’s alleged suicide. He, along with the team, found similarities in both the cases and suspected foul play with both the deaths. Meanwhile, Yi-Soo’s step-brother Jin Seung-Ju turned out to be the culprit in Myung-Chul’s murder. He mixed sleeping pills in Myung-Chul’s drinks, which led to the latter’s death.
Flex X Cop Episode 15: Ahn Bo-Hyun seeks Park Ji-Hyun’s help
The latest Flex X Cop episode 15 began with Jin Yi-Soo confronting his father and Hansu Group Chairman Jin Myung-Chul about his mother’s death. He confessed to hiding his mother’s sleeping pills, which makes her death due to a sleeping pill overdose a false conclusion. Yi-Soo blamed Myung-Chul for his mother’s death before leaving the house. The following day, Myung-Chul was found dead due to a sleeping pill overdose.
Yi-Soo began looking at his mother’s case the following day. He asked Lee Kang-Hyun for help to crack his mother’s case and told her about hiding the pills. At the same time, police arrived to inform them of Myung-Chul’s death. Devastated and in disbelief, Yi-Soo left the station with his assistant, Mr. Choi. Meanwhile, Jin Seung-Ju also heard about his father’s death. He told the police that he’d seen Myung-Chul right before the latter left for the villa.
After Myung-Chul’s funeral, Seung-Ju asked Yi-Soo why he’d gone to meet his father. However, Yi-Soo said that he’d explain everything later. The duo discussed how Myung-Chul must have killed himself due to the pressure of being the Hansu Group Chairman and the upcoming mayoral election. At night, Yi-Soo looked through his father’s belongings and saw a picture of his mother. Yi-Soo broke down after reading Myung-Chul’s message about starting their life together.
Myung-Chul had previously revealed to Yi-Soo that he was considering divorcing Jo Hee-Ja after finding out about Yi-Soo. He wanted to start afresh with Yi-Soo and his mother. Meanwhile, Kang-Hyun found similarities between Yi-Soo’s parents’ deaths. Both of them didn’t have any sleeping pills around them. Later that night, she met with Yi-Soo and urged him to remember the events of the night of his mother’s death.
The following day, Kang-Hyun informed Mr. Choi about suspecting foul play in Myung-Chul’s murder. Meanwhile, the board members urged Seung-Ju to be appointed the next Chairman. However, Mr. Choi recalled Myung-Chul not approving of Seung-Ju as the successor. Yi-Soo met with the psychiatrist and recalled that Jo Hee-Ja had met his mother on the night of her death. On the other hand, Park Joon-Young and Choi Kyung-Jin realized that someone close to Myung-Chul had found a way to enter the villa without cameras capturing them.
Back at the station, the team discussed Seung-Ju and Hee-Ja as the potential suspects as they would benefit the most from Myung-Chul’s death. Yi-Soo spoke to Mr. Choi about the developments of the case. At the same time, the team found out that a car exited Myung-Chul’s house an hour before his death at the villa. Mr. Choi knew it was Seung-Ju’s car, but when he somehow got inside, he discovered that the black box had no SD card.
By the end of the episode, Yi-Soo met with Seung-Ju. He informed his step-brother that it was Hee-Ja who visited his mother on the night of her death and assaulted her. Yi-Soo promised to catch the culprits behind his parents’ deaths. Later that night, Hee-Ja confronted Seung-Ju if he’d killed Myung-Chul. Seung-Ju confessed to killing Myung-Chul only because his mother wanted him to take over Hansu Group one day.
Seung-Ju went to meet Myung-Chul on the night of the latter’s death. Myung-Chul asked Seung-Ju and Hee-Ja to turn themselves in for Dae-Hoon’s murder. However, Seung-Ju mixed sleeping pills in Myung-Chul’s drinks, which led to the Chairman’s death. At the end of the episode, Seung-Ju took over as Hansu Group Chairman.
