Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won starrer Queen of Tears is already creating quite a buzz, with only four episodes released yet, so much so that fans have now started to speculate what might be the ending of the K-drama.
The storyline of the drama revolves around a married couple and their daily life struggle. While the wife is a chaebol heiress of the Queens Group, Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won), her husband, Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun), is the legal director of the same company. Once, they were in so much love that they decided to get married. But within three years, the couple is having marital problems. While Hyun-Woo feels suffocated to stay with his in-laws, Hae-In doesn’t feel comfortable with Baek Hyun-Woo anymore.
Penned by Crash Landing on You writer Park Ji-Eun and co-directed by Kim Hee-Won, the drama is garnering a lot of attention. The viewers are loving the chemistry between Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won. In fact, fans are now figuring out what will be the ending of the drama as a new behind-the-scene picture is doing rounds on the internet.
Queen of Tears: Fans wonder what lies in Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won’s future
A Queen of Tears fan took to their X (Twitter) account and shared a behind-the-scene picture. In the photo, Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) is sitting beside Kwak Dong-Yeon, who plays Hong Seo-Cheol, her brother. However, what caught everyone’s attention is that Hae-In is not wearing any wedding ring on her finger, which led the fandom to speculate about the ending of the drama.
One of the fans expects there will be a ‘d’ word in the drama – either death or divorce is what lies in the future for Hong Hae-In and Baek Hyun-Woo.
However, another fan clarified that the fanbase of Queen of Tears might get a happy ending after all, as the picture is a mirror image. They wrote, “It’s a selfie… so it’s a mirror right???? the one without the ring must be the right hand of hers. in fact, both of them are wearing their wedding rings on left hand.”
Well, till now, viewers know that Hong Hae-In has a rare tumor disease and might die in 3 months. Meanwhile, Baek Hyun-Woo, who wanted to get a divorce from her, is refraining from taking that decision because of her health condition. Now, only time will tell how the story will unfold further.
