The much-awaited movie Kanguva unveiled its teaser on March 19, 2024, sparking curiosity among audiences. Simultaneously, during the Amazon Prime event, the lead actor of Kanguva expressed excitement for the upcoming release. Also, during the event, the platform also confirmed its OTT release details.
Titled Kanguva – Sizzle Teaser, it is set against the backdrop of a hazy jungle, showcasing Suriya leading the tribes. The quick-pace teaser glimpsed the tribe’s rituals, with Bobby Deol’s tribal look also drawing much attention. The teaser concludes with an epic clash between Bobby and Surya.

Where is Suriya’s Kanguva coming out for OTT?
The OTT giant Amazon Prime Video announced on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “A story that travels 500 years from 1700’s to 2023 about a Hero who has to fulfil a mission left unfinished. #Kanguva available post-theatrical release. #AreYouReady #PrimeVideoPresents.”
Prime Video confirmed that Kanguva will be available to stream on the platform after its theatrical release. However, the audience still has to wait for the announcement of the OTT release date.
In addition to Bobby and Suriya, the film features a stellar cast, including Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, and Jagapathi Babu in significant roles. Moreover, the periodic action drama will be released in 3D in 10 different languages. Although initially scheduled for a summer release, the makers have yet to unveil the release plan.
