On March 17, 2024, the official website for the anime adaptation of Takibi Amamori and Imigimuru’s Too Many Losing Heroines released its first promotional video. The trailer also revealed the upcoming anime’s staff, cast, and release window.
Takibi Amamori released the light novel with Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko in July 2021, with illustrations by Imigimuru. The latter has made a name in the industry with the popular manga series The Art Room Has a Problem!.
Too Many Losing Heroines! anime: Everything you need to know
Takibi Amamori and Imigimuru’s anime will premiere in July 2024. Reportedly, Hikaru Tohno will perform the ending theme song, “LOVE2000,” of the anime. Tohno is also voicing Anna Yanami.
In addition to this, the anime revealed a character visual featuring the three main characters. Aside from Anna Yanami, Shion Wakayama and Momoka Terasawa will be seen as Remon Yakishio and Chika Komari, respectively. Joining them will be Shūichirō Umeda, who will star as Kazuhiro Nukumizu.
As for staff, Cardfight Vanguard director Shōtarō Kitamura will direct the anime at A-1 Pictures. Masahiro Yokotani will handle the series scripts, Tetsuya Kawakami will see the character design, and Kana Utatane will be in charge of the music.

Seven Seas licenses the official manga. It describes the story of Too Many Losing Heroines! as “Plain, boring, and friendless. Nukumizu Kazuhiko has witnessed something completely baffling: popular girl Yanami Anna was friend-zoned by her childhood friend and crush! In fact, all the popular girls around him are getting similarly rejected by the boys they like. Without realizing it, Kazuhiko becomes entangled in the relationship drama where all the leading heroines are losing out on love! Can he keep their spirits up and help them find happiness?”
