The Third Marriage is a popular ongoing revenge K-drama that made its debut on October 23, 2023, on MBC TV. The original plan of MBC was to release a total of 122 episodes of the series. However, Sports Chosun reports that the K-drama has been extended for 10 more episodes. The reason behind the extension is excellent viewership ratings and viewers’ support, as per Sports Chosun.
Thus, The Third Marriage will now release 132 episodes, instead of 122 episodes, in total on MBC TV. It is a daily Korean series that airs from Monday to Friday on the network. The air time of the series on MBC TV is 7.05 p.m. KST.
The Third Marriage on MBC gets extended for 10 more episodes
As per Sports Chosun, Jang Jae-Hoon, the Studio EP of MBC Drama says (originally in Korean), “We decided to extend it in response to the support of viewers who responded with surprising results for a daily drama in terms of viewership and topicality as well as VOD views.”
Jang Jae-Hoon further added, “Please pay more attention to stories involving justice, cider, and revenge.”
Seo Hyun-Joo has served as the writer of The Third Marriage. Meanwhile, Kang Tae-Heum and Lee Jae-Jin are the directors of the series. The main cast list of the K-drama includes Oh Seung-Ah, Yoon Sun-Woo, Yoon Hae-Young, Jeon No-Min, Oh Se-Young, and Moon Ji-Hoo, among others.
