In what promises to be one of the most talked-about weddings of the year, the impending nuptials of Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, to industrialist Viren Merchant’s daughter, Radhika Merchant, kicked off with a star-studded pre-wedding celebration in Gujarat’s Jamnagar. The extravagant celebrations started off on March 1st and wrapped up on March 3rd.
The pre-wedding festivities started off with a traditional ‘anna seva’ ceremony in Jogwad village near Reliance Township, where the Ambani and Merchant families, along with several prominent guests, served traditional Gujarati cuisine to approximately 51,000 local residents. Among those in attendance were Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant, and her maternal grandmother and parents, Viren and Shaila Merchant.

It’s not just the locals who participated in the festivities; a constellation of stars from various fields descended in Jamnagar to celebrate the union of Anant and Radhika. Among the notable guests who already graced the event with their presence were Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, global sensation Rihanna, and multi-talented musician Adam Blackstone.
Furthermore, the power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone also made their first public appearance since their announcement of their pregnancy. Others such as Shahrukh Khan with his family, Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Arjun Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Atlee, and Orry also graced the event in Jamnagar.
Almost, the entirety of Bollywood was in attendance for the gala celebration. Political leaders such as Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, and Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of Maharashtra Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis, also arrived.
