Ino and Kusakabe are talking about Yuta moving the location of his domain barrier to a good spot. Ino was saying it would’ve been better if there were more people inside Yuta’s barrier. Choso was supposed to be inside, but Kusakabe says it’s too late for that. Anyone who tries to enter, Sukuna will notice and the surprise attack will fail.
Maki gets ready to join the battle. Ino says Kusakabe can join too but Kusakabe ignores this and cheers for Maki. Maki gets ready and Yuta’s domain collapses, which was the signal to attack.
Going back to the present, Yuta is slashed and Maki stabs Sukuna. Rika holds Yuta while crying. Ui Ui shows up to teleport Yuta for healing.
Maki attempts to cut Sukuna in half but he avoids it. Sukuna realizes Yuta destroyed his domain on purpose to signal the others. It appears Sukuna can’t heal from Maki’s cut as quickly compared to other injuries. The narration says when Maki cuts someone’s soul with her sword, the wound can’t be healed normally with Reverse Curse Technique (RCT).
To heal one’s soul, one should clearly see the soul’s outline. While Sukuna can intercept his soul after being inside Yuji, it’s not as easy for him to heal. Using RCT to heal one’s soul is a different approach. Plus, there’s the damage from fighting Gojo.
Yuji screams to Megumi that things aren’t over yet. However, Yuji falls and coughs out blood. He’s been consistently using RCT despite learning it only after a month, so he hasn’t healed properly. Choso tells him to use the technique calmly.
Sukuna tries to grab Maki’s sword, but Maki counterattacks. He slices a building and throws the debris towards Maki. As the debris blocks Maki’s sight, Sukuna throws a slash but Maki avoids it. It registers to Sukuna that Maki sees his technique way better than others. He says it feels like when he fought Mahogara at Shibuya.
Maki stabbed Sukuna’s heart but he’s forcing it to beat using cursed energy. The chapter switches to Hakari and Uraume. Hakari figured things would be bad seeing Sukuna’s original form, but Sukuna’s still getting damaged. He says Sukuna’s cursed energy is drying up, confident they’re going to win.
Uraume laughs and calls Hakari an idiot. They defend Sukuna, saying Sukuna’s not interested in his opponents. They say he still hasn’t given it his all.
The series will not be on break next week.
