A new rumor for MCU’s Spider-Man 4 claims Miles Morales will be a part of the film and fans are curious to know if there is any truth to it. Here is everything you need to know.
Will Miles Morales appear in Spider-Man 4?
Miles Morales has not been confirmed to appear in Spider-Man 4 as of this writing.
According to a new report from Daniel Richtman (Daniel RPK), a semi-reliable scooper and industry insider, Marvel and Sony are planning to include Miles Morales in Spider-Man 4.
However, fans must take this scoop from Daniel RPK with a grain of salt and wait for an official update from Marvel Studios, Sony, or Kevin Feige on the matter.
Miles Morales was previously teased in the MCU in Spider-Man: Homecoming, when Donald Glover’s Aaron Davis, who in the comics and other media is depicted as Miles’ uncle, mentioned having a nephew and wanting to protect him from Adrian Toomes’ dangerous weapons. Moreover, a deleted scene from Homecoming name-dropped Miles when Aaron Davis whose hand was webbed to his car told Miles he could not make it home.
Morales has enjoyed his time in the cinematic spotlight albeit in animated form as he has led two critically and commercially successful Spider-Verse films from Sony. Thus, adding him into the mix in Spider-Man 4 would no doubt prove exciting for fans who wish to see the character make his long-awaited live-action debut.
However, some fans wish for Marvel and Sony to save Miles’ MCU debut for later as they believe that his introduction could drastically impact Peter Parker’s new story as a young solo hero after its tease in Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ending.
