The thriller C-drama White Cat Legend has released episode 15 on February 25, 2024. The series follows the genres of mystery, fantasy, and adventure. It features Ding Yuxi, Zhou Qi, Ding Jiawen, and Zhang Yicong in the leading roles. Wang Wei has directed it, and the original broadcasting network of the drama is iQIYI. The drama is an adaptation of the famous manhwa “Dali Si Rizhi.”
White Cat Legend is a period drama that takes place during the Tang Dynasty. It tells the story of Li Bing (Ding Yuxi), who gets appointed as the Assistant Minister of the Dali temple after the Empress recognizes his worth at a night banquet. Following his leadership, a group of temple members allies to uphold justice in the kingdom. They work hard to solve crimes and bring peace to the people of the kingdom.
White Cat Legend Ep 15: Ding Yuxi investigates the murder mystery of the chancellor’s family member
In episode 15 of White Cat Legend, Li Bing and the members of the Court of Judicial Review search for a suspect, a man named Lu who delivers water, in the alleys. But the alleys are densely populated and it is hard for them to find him. Wang Qi (Feng Man) mentions that he might have seen the potential suspect and everyone hurries to catch him. Meanwhile, a strange man approaches Chen Shi (Zhou Qi) at the Mingjing Hall, claiming to know his brother.
The man is the suspect, Lu. He asks Chen Shi to have over the wooden box. When Chen Shi refuses, he attacks him. Chen Shi wakes up all tied up. The man confesses to stealing and also murders Liu Fu. He explains how Liu Fu framed his brother which led to his execution. The man puts a knife to Chen Shi’s throat but luckily, Li Bing and the members of the judicial court arrive at the spot and save him.
Chen Shi expresses his desire to join the Court of Judicial Review as a member. He wants to look for his brother and become someone his brother can rely on. The members applaud his decision. Li Bing requests them to help Chen Shi train for the post.
In episode 15 of White Cat Legend, another suspicious murder takes place in the kingdom. The deceased is none other than the Chancellor’s younger brother. Li Bing and Shangguan (Ren Min) arrive at the spot and examine it thoroughly. The deceased man endures strangling and a fatal wound is discovered on his chest.
Moreover, the investigators found blooded cat paw prints all over the crime scene. A stray cat has sucked some blood from the dead body. Additionally, they also find traces of five minerals powder at the crime scene while Shangguan can track the potential entrance from where the culprit slipped inside.
The deceased person comes from one of the richest families in the city. But his own family had banished him after he violated some rules. The mysteries intensify. Will Li Bing and the Judicial Court be able to get to the bottom of the mystery?
