Gina Gershon plays Mad Moxxi in the live-action Borderlands movie.
The 61-year-old veteran actress and singer will be seen as Moxxi, who is an NPC mission provider in the original game. So far, Moxxi has been seen in Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, and Borderlands 3.
In the games, she owns various bars on Pandora and appears in The Underdome in “Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot” as the hostess of the Colosseum matches. So, Gina Gershon is expected to play a similar role as Moxxi in 2024’s Borderlands. She is taking over the role from Brina Palencia, who voices the character in all the games.
