After the two successful seasons of the Maharani franchise, makers are all set to stream the much-anticipated Maharani Season 3. Recently, the official streaming partner SonyLIV finally announced its premiere date.
Maharani is a politics-themed series set in Bihar, and it features violence, betrayals, ambitions, and mind games. For those unaware, Season 1 revolves around the infamous Chara Ghotala (Fodder Scam). Furthermore, Huma Qureshi’s character in the series, named Rani Bharti, is loosely based on Rabri Devi, former Chief Minister of Bihar.
The makers have created a buzz for the third season with a slogan – “Pareeksha ki tayyari hai jaari, Phir aa rahi hai #Maharani!” Moreover, in the third season, Rani Bharti will have to face major challenges as her children are under threat. She strives for revenge on those who harmed her.
The web series features a star-studded cast, including Huma Qureshi in the lead role, along with Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Anuja Sathe, Sushil Pandey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles. Additionally, Maharani 3 has been produced by Naren Kumar and Dimple Kharbanda, created by Subhash Kapoor, and directed by Saurabh Bhave. Furthermore, the gripping storyline is penned by Subhash Kapoor and Nandan Singh.
