The trailer for the upcoming 4-part docuseries Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story is out. Scheduled to premiere on Hulu on April 26, 2024, this project will shed light on Bon Jovi’s rise and struggles. In addition, it will also take a look at Jon Bon Jovi’s 2022 vocal issue that required surgery.
According to People Magazine, Jon Bon Jovi, the vocalist of Bon Jovi, underwent vocal surgery in February 2022. Reports suggest that one of his vocal cords was “atrophying, ” meaning one cord was thick and the other thin. Thankfully, a skillful surgeon provided him with a “cutting-edge implant to build the cord back up.” He is currently in the process of recovery.

Jon Bon Jovi is 19 months into rehab from his surgery and has finally started to sing again. On February 2, 2024, he sang at his MusiCares Person of the Year honor and tribute concert. He even stated, “Friday night was the first time that I’d sung in public. Saturday morning is the first time I woke up without multiple voices in my head. It was just me. And that was the best feeling. It was just me.”
