Fans of YouTuber Ryan Trahan are curious about whether he is quitting or leaving YouTube after his most recent upload titled “My last video”. Here is all you need to know.
Is Ryan Trahan quitting or leaving YouTube?
No, Ryan Trahan is not quitting or leaving YouTube. The video, with the clickbait title, is part of a marketing campaign to promote his recently launched candy product line, Joyride.
Ryan Trahan is not leaving YouTube, although his recent upload “My last video” creates the feeling that he is leaving and so do the first few seconds of the video. In the beginning, he expresses his doubts about people watching the video and claims he knew when it was time to give up before he shifted the tone to an intense ad-video.
The clip saw Ryan rushing into his house to look for food only to come across a newspaper claiming he was the last man on earth. He then gets a knock at the door. Upon opening it, he finds a coded message written alongside “There’s 1 More” and rushes to the location he knew it was referring to.
Trahan then finds a vending machine and takes a candy stick from it. As lightning strikes, he rushes back to a safe space and starts concocting something. Interestingly, it is revealed that Trahan was on a quest to create candy without the dreaded sugar rush.
Ryan then concluded the video, announcing the launch of his new candy stick product line Joyride, and the different flavors it comes in.
Despite its clickbait title which may have misled people into believing that Trahan is leaving YouTube, this marketing stunt seems to have worked. The video, which was uploaded on February 14, has already amassed over 3.5M views.
