Netflix acquired all 3 seasons of Loudermilk but hasn’t yet ordered a season 4 or 5.
For those wondering, Loudermilk hasn’t been canceled. Series co-creator Peter Farrelly continues to show interest in filming Seasons 4 and 5. But the show hasn’t yet found a home for its potential future seasons.
After previously being an Amazon Prime Video show, the streamer didn’t want to continue it with a fourth season. Jump to January 2024, Loudermilk was licensed to Netflix and has been in the Top 10 list in Australia, the US, and the UK ever since. But Netflix has yet to order more seasons.
Will Netflix launch new seasons of Loudermilk?
With Loudermilk performing extremely well for Netflix, it could find a permanent home on the streamer with seasons 4 and 5. But nothing is confirmed at the moment.
The official Twitter account of Farrelly Brothers recently replied to fans with multiple new updates in the case of Loudermilk Season 4. Peter Farrelly has been highly optimistic about two new seasons. In one of his X posts, he wrote:
“I’m so happy people are finally finding #Loudermilk on @Netflix. That show was a joy to make and it’s FAR FROM OVER. Seasons 4 and 5 are already mapped out and ready to shoot! Just have to find the right home for it—hopefully Netflix. Can’t wait to tell the whole story!”
So, there is a strong chance for Netflix to be the permanent home for the hit comedy series. Comingsoon will update the story as soon as a future season gets announced.
