Who are Dorry and Brogy in One Piece? The series has many types of races in the story and one of them is giants. The story introduced these two giants back in the Little Garden arc of the Alabasta Saga. Here is a guide on Dorry and Brogy.
Who are Dorry and Brogy in One Piece?
Dorry and Brogy are giants from Elbaf. They are also both the captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Each of them has a bounty of 100,000,000 Berries. The Straw Hat Pirates met Dorry and Brogy at Little Garden, an island located in Paradise at the Grand Line.
The two are great best friends with respect for one another. Around 100 years ago, they got into an argument over who caught the bigger fish after a little girl asked which fish was bigger. To settle that argument, they went to Little Garden and dueled over it. During the Water 7 and Fish-Man Island arcs, the two giants were still dueling.
Dorry is 160 years old (after the time skip) and has a long beard. He wears a helmet that goes up to his eyes. Brogy is the same age and has a shorter beard. His helmet has two horns. Both of them are dressed up like Vikings.
While giants are known for being incredibly strong and durable, Dorry and Brogy are stronger and more physically skilled compared to other giants.
Why are Dorry and Brogy with Shanks?
Dorry and Brogy are close with Shanks, calling him “brother.” Shanks is an old friend of theirs, and he has a good relationship with the giants in general.
When Kid and his crew fought Shanks, the two giants helped him sink Kid’s ship. At this point, the two giants were already back on Elbaf. This is during the Egghead arc.
