Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal Gets Netflix Release Date Following Legal Dispute

After having a remarkable run at the box office, Ranbir Kapoor‘s Animal is now on its way to debut on Netflix. The film faces a potential delay in its digital debut due to the legal issues it faced. For those who might not know, Cine1 Private Ltd and T-Series were reportedly involved in a legal contractual dispute.

The dispute was mainly for the financial profit distribution between the partners. It was filled based on the claims of breach of contract. Cine1 Private Ltd alleged that T-Series was hiding the financial information from them, which led to the conflict between them.

However, in the recent notification by the Honorable Delhi High Court, the lawsuit between the two partners was resolved. Furthermore, it has been revealed that the contractual dispute was settled outside of the court.

Earlier, the scheduled hearing for this case was on January 22, 2024. However, now that the matter is seemingly settled, Animal is all set to arrive on the OTT Platform. This is surely good news for those who missed the theatrical experience of Ranbir Kapoor’s blockbuster hit.

When Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is coming on Netflix

Since the legal dispute has been settled, the signals are green for the digital debut of the movie. The OTT rights have already been sold to Netflix. This suggests that the digital media company wants to expand its Indian content. Meanwhile, recently Netflix India officially announced that Animal is coming to their platform on January 26, 2024.

Not only Animal but Vicky Kaushal Sam Bahadur is also set to make its OTT debut on the same day on Zee5. As it is now, the blockbuster run of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal undoubtedly gives a clear indication that the film holds the potential to break records in its digital debut.
