Siddharth Anand’s directorial has already sold over 76,000 tickets on day 2 of advance booking.

The latest data from trade analyst Sacnilk provides a comprehensive breakdown of the advance ticket sales. Among the sold tickets, 32,906 were for the 2D version, 37,379 were for the 3D version, 5,405 were for the IMAX 3D experience, and 1,133 were for the 4DX 3D experience. Moreover, on day 1, the film sold over 1,00,000 tickets.
Additionally, in the advance booking (with block seats), Delhi leads the charge, contributing tickets worth $11 thousand. Maharashtra follows closely with Fighter, achieving ticket sales of $10.8 thousand. Telangana and West Bengal also play pivotal roles in the advance booking frenzy, contributing significantly with sales figures of $4.7 thousand and $4.3 thousand, respectively. In total, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan’s movie has earned $306 thousand.
Siddharth Anand reveals Shah Rukh Khan’s reaction to the trailer
In a recent interview, Siddharth Anand, the filmmaker behind Fighter, shared insights into Shah Rukh Khan’s positive reaction after viewing the film’s trailer. The director revealed, “Shah Rukh loved the trailer. In fact, I met him the day it was released. He loved the look of the villain and the stunts. According to him, the CGI appeared very seamless. He was very impressed.”
He also shared that Pathaan has certain high expectations from him after Pathaan’s blockbuster success and how Fighter should not be compared with Shah Rukh Khan’s film.
He expressed, “I don’t expect that this time around. With Pathaan, it just happened. I got blessed with it. Pathaan was blessed and special. But I don’t want Fighter to be compared to anything. I didn’t want Pathaan to be compared to War either. I want Fighter to chart its own world because it’s its own film.”
