Pankaj Tripathi‘s new movie, Main Atal Hoon, sheds light on the life and political career of India’s leader, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Ravi Jadhav directed the movie, with Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios producing it. It also stars Piyush Mishra, Raja Rameshkumar Seva, Daya Shankar Pandey, Payal Nair, Haresh Khatri and Pramod Pathak, among others.
Main Atal Hoon revolves around the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who served as the Prime Minister of India three times during his tenure.
Recent reports have revealed the details of the actors’ fees for starring in the biographical movie. It had its theatrical release on January 19, 2024.

After the announcement of Main Atal Hoon, Pankaj Tripathi made headlines for a long time, marking his first biopic film. He portrays the life of former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the movie. As per reports, he charged a sum of $601K (approx.). Earlier, the actor was known to charge around $240–360 K for his movie.
Piyush Mishra portrays the role of Krishna Bihari Vajpayee, Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s father, in the movie. The actor reportedly charged $84K (approx.) to play the character.
Actor Daya Shankar Pandey portrayed the character of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the late leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the precursor political party of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to reports, the actor charged a fee of $36K (approx.) for this movie.
In addition to the lead actors, Raja Rameshkumar Sevak plays the role of Lal Krishna Advani. He reportedly charged a fee of $48K (approx.). Actress Payal Kapoor Nair plays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Main Atal Hoon. She reportedly charged $24K (approx.) for this character.
Pramod Pathak portrays the role of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the first Industry and Supply Minister of India in Jawaharlal Nehru’s cabinet. He also reportedly charged a fee of $24k (approx.).
