Is Big Mom dead in One Piece?
The status of Charlotte Linlin, or Big Mom, in One Piece remains unknown. There is no confirmation so far on whether she is dead or alive.
After a long battle against Trafalgar Law and Eustass “Captain” Kid, the two finally defeat Big Mom in Episode 1067. During the battle, both Law and Kid manage to awaken their Devil Fruit abilities, which greatly contribute to the success of their battle against Big Mom.
Eventually, Law and Kid send her falling from Onigashima to the ground near Wano. She goes even deeper when she falls into underground lava and gets dragged into the explosion. That’s the last we’ve seen of her so far.
Who kills Big Mom in One Piece?
While Big Mom’s death is unconfirmed at the moment, her last battle was against Trafalgar Law and Eustass “Captain” Kid during the Wano Country arc. In this arc, Law and Kid join forces and manage to defeat her.
As she was falling, she swore that she would get revenge on Law and Kid. She didn’t want them to think that she was going to go down like that and that this was the end of her.
Considering how durable Big Mom is, there’s a chance that she survived the battle. In Chapter 1064 of the manga, even her daughter, Pudding, wasn’t sure if she was alive. On the other hand, some members of the Blackbeard Pirates thought that she was dead.
