Kuma manages to hit Saturn with his punch. Meanwhile, everyone else is surprised to see Kuma there. Kuma’s attack dealt damage to Saturn and sent him flying. Vegapunk tells everyone to bring Bonney to the Labo Phase so they can escape.
Vegapunk says that Kuma’s self-destruct switch doesn’t actually destroy Kuma’s body. But he followed Saturn’s order and made a mechanism where Kuma won’t be able to move or take orders after self-destruct is activated. Vegapunk wonders about the Buccaneer’s special ability.
Bonney thanks Kuma for all that he did. Kuma hugs Bonney and stops moving. Meanwhile, the Marines try looking for Luffy, who disappears. Saturn loses an arm and horn from Kuma’s punch. However, he recovers quickly.
Saturn tries attacking Kuma but Sanji and Franky intervene. Kizaru attacks Franky, but Vegapunk calls him out. Kizaru has a sad look on his face. The last page shows Saturn ordering a Buster Call on Egghead.
The chapter’s title is “Thank You, Daddy.”
The series will not be on break next week.
The story is certainly off to a good start this year. Initially, some fans were probably concerned that Kuma’s punch wasn’t going to land on Saturn. Thankfully, the chapter will show Kuma’s punch hitting Saturn, which is a relief for many fans and all who dislike Saturn. Plus, there will be more exciting battles to come.
One Piece Chapter 1104 will be out in the United States on Sunday, January 21, at 10 AM ET / 9 AM CT / 7 AM PT.
