During a recent interview with Variety, Oscar nominee Kristen Stewart opened up about her experience working on 2019’s Charlie’s Angels reboot, revealing that she actually “hated” filming it. In the action comedy remake, Stewart played the role of one of the titular Angels alongside Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska.
“We wanted a strong opener, you know?” Stewart said. “We wanted to really like broadcast what the movie was about. It was a good idea at the time. I hated making that movie. I don’t know what else to say to you. Honestly, the three…you can’t touch [that]. Cameron, Lucy and Drew…I love that movie. I love that movie! If that says anything.”
During its theatrical run, the Charlie’s Angels reboot failed to lived up to the original film franchise, as it underperformed at the box office by only earning a gross of over $73 million. The film also received mixed critical reviews.
What is Kristen Stewart’s next movie about?

“The film centers around a reclusive gym manager Lou who falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream,” reads the synopsis. “But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.”
