What happened in Fargo Season 5 episode 9?
Fargo Season 5 Episode 9 saw Roy Tillman mounting a defense against the state and federal forces while Dorothy gets one step closer to her freedom.
After the demise of Danish Graves in episode 8, the latest episode saw Dorothy the Tigress escape captivity and make a play to survive at the Tillman Ranch. She calls Indira for help and finally unites with her mother-in-law Lorraine Lyon in spirit, as the latter accepts her as part of the Lyon family.
Lorraine also pulled in a few favors to send the FBI to go after Roy Tillman on the grounds of exposing his illegal activities and finding her lawyer Danish Graves, and daughter-in-law, Dorothy aka Dot. Knowing that help is on its way, Dot finds a place to hide where nobody would expect her to. But Roy Tillman expects the unexpected and sends Bowman to look for her where Danish Graves’ body was dumped.
Meanwhile, Ole Munch casts his revenge upon Gator and gouges his eyes out as a penance for what he did to the elderly woman, Irma. Munch then delivers a helpless Gator to his father and goes on to help Dot get one step closer to her freedom.
Who dies in Fargo season 5 episode 9’s ending?
Nobody significant dies in episode 9 besides Roy Tillman’s right-hand man, Bowman, and two other goons.
Right when Bowman arrives at Dot’s hiding spot to bury her, he gets attacked and presumably killed by Ole Munch. The assassin who was once her kidnapper now helps her find her freedom. No other important characters are killed off in episode 9 as writer Noah Hawley saves all the carnage for the finale.
What’s next for Roy Tillman and Dorothy in the Fargo season 5 finale?
The final episode of Fargo season 5 is expected to showcase an all-out war between Roy Tillman’s army and the state and federal forces, while Dot confronts her abuser once and for all.
As per the promo of Fargo season 5 episode 10, we will see some good old justice being served at the Tillman Ranch. While the FBI and State forces take down Roy’s men, Deputy Witt Farr could track down Dot to save her. But he might realize that she needs no saving, as she’d probably be the one to kill Roy for revenge and fulfill the promise she made in episode 8.
