Vijay Thalapathy’s new movie title and first look were announced on New Year’s Eve. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie is titled GOAT, i.e., The Greatest of All Time. As of writing, the makers released two official posters featuring Vijay in a double role. The first poster has Vijay with an old look like a fighter pilot and a younger version of himself. The second poster also includes both younger and older versions of Vijay on a flying bike with a gun blazing.
Soon after the first glimpse of the movie, netizens started comparing the film. This resulted in fans alleging it as a Hollywood remake of Gemini Man featuring Will Smith in the pivotal role. This comparison is because both have the lead actor in the poster featured in his older and younger look.
Will Smith’s Gemini Man was released back on October 11, 2019. The film’s plot revolves around a person named Henry, an aged assassin. Soon, he got chased by someone who could easily predict his next move, failing his triumph. Further, he comes to know that the chase master is a clone of him and starts to discover the origin of that person.
