Now, all eyes are on the actor’s upcoming film The Bull with Karan Johar. After 25 years, the actor-producer duo is joining hands for a project. There is a massive buzz among fans regarding this new movie, and Trisha Krishnan is allegedly set to play the leading lady.
Salman Khan and Karan Johar worked together for the first time on the 1998 film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Khan had a cameo as Aman in the film and impressed the masses. Since then, fans never got to witness their collaboration on the big screen. Well, if reports are to be believed, the upcoming movie will also have a fresh pair.
Salman Khan and Trisha to share screen in The Bull?
As per a report by 123telugu.com, Trisha Krishnan is set to play the lead role opposite Salman Khan in The Bull. Moreover, she has allegedly expressed her wish to share the screen with Salman several times in the past. This might mark Trisha’s second Hindi project after Khatta Meetha. She was last seen in the Ponniyin Selvan film series and left everyone in awe with her impeccable acting skills.
Meanwhile, Vishnuvardhan is directing The Bull, while Dharam Productions is bankrolling it. The film is reportedly set to go on floors in February 2024, and Salman will go under a 60-day transformation. The Bull is slated to hit the theaters on Eid 2025. As per Indian Express, the makers of The Bull shared a statement last month confirming that the film is based on real-life events. The statement read, “The movie will depict the harrowing events of the terror attacks in Malé, Maldives, on November 3, 1988, locally referred to as Badi Buraasfathi or Gun [Explosive] Thursday.”
