Rules of the Game is a thriller series about a new HR director who starts a toxic workplace environment and plays sexual politics with employees in the company. The story begins with Sam, a ruthless, abrasive COO, who climbed the corporate ladder at the sportswear company Fly because she flirted her way with the boys at work. However, the newly appointed HR Director of the company differed from Sam’s workplace perspective. Maya and Sam clashed from the very first meeting as Maya points out the red flags at the company which brings out dark secrets. Soon she and Sam are enquiring about a female employee, Amy, who died in mysterious circumstances after a company party a few years ago.
With speculations around the place where Amy had committed suicide, Sam is forced to reevaluate the work culture at the company. To make matters complicated, she sees the dead body of one of her colleagues at the reception in the present. She begins reflecting on the company’s problematic culture, and events back in the day that led to Amy’s death.
