KBS shared The Matchmakers Episode 15 trailer ahead of its premiere. Starring Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun, the K-drama’s storyline, nearing its finale, teases a happy ending.
In episode 14 ending, Jung Soon-Deok and Sim Jung-Woo appeared as bride and groom along with the three sisters at a group wedding ceremony. Both the characters looked shocked and confused when they saw each other.
The Matchmakers Episode 15 trailer hints at a runaway bride drama. It seems Soon-Deok and Jung-Woo turn bride and groom to buy time while others look for the couple missing.

The Matchmakers Episode 15 trailer hints at Rowoon, Cho Yi-Hyun’s plan after Ye-Jin runs away
The Matchmakers Episode 15 trailer begins with Cho Yi-Hyun’s Soon-Deok asking someone about her sister-in-law, Jo Ye-Jin. The latter is supposed to get married along with the three maidens on the same day.
When Soon-Deok finds out that Ye-Jin has run away, she takes her place to buy time. On the other hand, it seems one of the grooms is also missing. Earlier, viewers saw that Ye-Jin likes farmer Yoon Boo-Gyeom, who is matched with the second maiden, Maeng Du-Ri. It seems fate will finally bring the right matches together.
The episode 15 trailer further shows an angry Park So-Hyun yelling, “Do you think I prepared all this just so those old maidens can get married?” She refers to opening her house for the marriage of the old maidens alongside the wedding of her daughter, Ye-Jin. Meanwhile, Soon-Deok and Jung-Woo (Rowoon) lay out a plan to marry off at least three couples.
The clip then shows So-Hyun telling the King’s wife to switch sweet dishes at the wedding, arousing curiosity about her evil plan. The Matchmakers Episode 15 trailer ends with Jung-Woo telling Soon-Deok, “Once this wedding is finished, let us run away together.” The final scene shows them in a room together, sharing soft glances.
The Matchmakers Episode 15 release date is Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 9:45 p.m. KST on KBS. It will also stream on Viki.
