Keke Palmer and Pete Davidson are joining Eddie Murphy in the cast of the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios‘ film The Pickup.
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Palmer and Davidson will star in the comedy alongside Murphy. Murphy will also produce the film under his company The Story Company, with director Tim Story also producing alongside John David and John Fox.
As of now, there are no plot details for The Pickup. However, the film is described as a “heist comedy,” and will be written by Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows.
Palmer and Davidson have had some big roles in the past few years
Palmer most recently starred opposite Daniel Kaluuya in the hit 2022 Jordan Peele horror film Us. Prior to that, she also appeared in the 2022 Disney film Lightyear, where she lent her voice to the character Izzyu Hawthorne.
The actress also appeared in the 2023 animated film Under the Boardwalk, as well as in an episode of the 2023 comedy murder mystery anthology series The Afterparty.
Davidson is best known for his time on the sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, where he was a cast member for eight seasons. Most recently, Davidson starred in the 2023 film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts as Mirage, as well as in the 2023 biographical comedy-drama Dumb Money.
