Netflix Is a Joke Fest Unveils Star-Studded 2024 Lineup

Netflix brings back its Los Angeles-based comedy festival, Netflix is a Joke Fest, and has so far promised an exciting lineup for 2024. The upcoming 11-day event will include big names in the comedy industry, such as Jerry Seinfeld, Ali Wong, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, David Letterman, Leslie Jones, and Trevor Noah, to mention only a few.

The celebration of all things comedy, which will commence from May 2 to May 12, features 300 live shows across 35 landmarks in L.A. with what the streamer described as “the best comedians and artists in the world.” Various comedians will be gracing historic places in the comedy scene, including The Hollywood Improv, Largo, Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Store.

The upcoming comedy festival will also feature Netflix is a Joke Fest’s outdoor hub, Outside Joke, located next to the popular Hollywood Palladium. An even bigger comedy festival for 2024, Netflix is a Joke Fest previously pulled off 295 shows back in 2022 and featured over 330 comedians. The 2022 festival has even managed to sell 260,000 tickets, according to Netflix.

“This is a special time for comedy, both for Netflix and the genre at large. We have the privilege of working with comedians who are selling out arenas, winning awards and building fandoms in the millions. In the 10 years that we’ve been doing stand-up we’ve seen the art form reach levels we didn’t think possible. This festival aims to capture this moment by bringing together the world’s best comedians for an unforgettable 11 days,” Netflix VP of Stand-up and Comedy Formats Robbie Praw said in a statement.

Tickets will go on sale on December 15 at 10:00 a.m. via Netflix is a Joke Fest’s official website.

Who else will be joining the 2024 lineup?

Besides the artists mentioned above, the 2024 event will see the appearances of some of the big names in the comedy industry, including Kumail Nanjiani, Jimmy Carr, Brett Goldstein, Maya Rudolph, and Matt Rife.
