Lionsgate has unveiled the trailer for a movie inspired by the true story of the Rufus Buck Gang and their conflicts with the US Marshals and the Old West’s Native American police. Titled The Night They Came Home, the upcoming Western thriller movie is set to hit theaters, on demand, and digital on January 12, 2024.
The Night They Came Home tells the tale of a frontier lawman trying to hunt down a ruthless group of teenage outlaws called the Rufus Buck Gang. The forthcoming film will also explore how the young criminals terrorized the Indian Territory of Middle America during the 19th century.
The synopsis for The Night They Came Home reads as follows: “Based on true events, The Night They Came Home chronicles the ruthless exploits of the Rufus Buck Gang, Native American outlaws who terrorized the Indian Territory of Middle America at the tail end of the 19th century. The combined force of local lawmen and Indian police aim to take down a cold-heated band of fugitives with vengeance on their minds in a western thriller.”

The Night They Came Home boasts an ensemble cast
The upcoming Western thriller film features an ensemble cast of Danny Trejo (Machete), Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills, 90210), Robert Carradine (Revenge of the Nerds), Tim Abell (Butch vs. Sundance), Jesse Kove (On Wings of Eagles), Kelsey Reinhardt (Run The Race). Rounding out the cast are Kassius Marcil-Green and Charlie N. Townsend.
