In late November 2023, it was reported that The Boys: Mexico, the third live-action series set in The Boys Universe and the fourth overall after The Boys, The Boys Presents: Diabolical, and Gen V, is in development at Amazon. Based on the namesake comic book written by Garth Ennis and illustrated and co-created by Darick Robertson, The Boys is a superhero series that inverts almost all the tropes of the genre. Set in a bleak, cynical universe, the series explores the idea of how things would be if superheroes existed in the real world.

The Boys: Mexico does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.
The Boys: Mexico is in early development. The plot is kept strictly under wraps, and Deadline reported in late November 2023 that their sources told them that casting hadn’t begun yet. In fact, the search is reportedly on for a co-showrunner to collaborate with the series creator, writer, and executive producer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, who penned the 2023 superhero film Blue Beetle and is currently writing the script for the show.
The series will predominantly be set in Mexico and filmed there. Alongside The Boys creator Erik Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, and Pavun Shetty, The Boys: Mexico is slated to be executive produced by Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal through their La Corriente del Golfo film production company, sources revealed. Luna and Bernal will also reportedly portray minor characters in the upcoming show.
If the project forward, given that Gen V spent three years in active development before premiering on September 29, 2023, it can be speculated that The Boys: Mexico can come out in late 2026.
