In 2010, the Indiana couple, Kristine and Michael Barnett, adopted a 6-year-old orphan from Ukraine. The name of this child was Natalia Grace. Even though things looked nothing out of the ordinary at the start, Kristine and Michael began suspecting that Natalia was much older than her claimed age.
According to People, the couple claimed that Natalia was an adult woman who was only posing as a child. Furthermore, they even claimed that Natalia had malicious intentions and tried to harm their family. They called their former adoptive daughter a sociopath and even labeled her a con artist. Kristine and Michael Barnett also have three biological sons.
According to Distractify, Kristine and Michael have divorced. Kristine currently resides in Florida.
